It’s an Easy Decision

Lourdes is an unbelievable value when you compare it to other private high schools. If we can afford to provide the higher quality education for our kids, then I think it’s a pretty easy decision.

A 1988 graduate of Lourdes, Matt Hogan continues to maintain connections with the school. After majoring in finance at Creighton and establishing a career in financial planning, Matt knows the value of money. He believes that the school’s tuition is extremely inexpensive when you consider its history of academic excellence and the network it provides. “Many alumni are business owners, bankers, attorneys, accountants, and professionals in other key areas of influence,” he notes, “and networking is important in my business.”

Matt and his wife have enrolled their two young children in the Rocheter Catholic Schools system. Other parents they meet at school activities are also Lourdes alumni. “There is a high likelihood,” he says, “that many will send their children to Lourdes for high school.” Parents have concerns about the declining funding for public school education and a lack of political commitment to education. “The thing that distinguishes Lourdes from the public school options is not about the bricks and mortar, though,” he adds, “it’s the philosophy and the commitment of the teachers.”
